Luke Hillier is a successful entrepreneur who believes deeply that economic opportunity is an engine of democracy and freedom. Luke has seen firsthand the desperate situations that have arisen from the extreme poverty in countries like Nicaragua and Afghanistan as well as those in the United States faced by too many veterans and their families confronted by unemployment, substance abuse and homelessness. He has also seen the benefits of creating several successful businesses, hiring hundreds of veterans, assisting entrepreneurs develop their innovative ideas and paving the way to a better life through education. Luke is dedicated to the idea of furthering economic opportunity to promote democracy and freedom, and he established Hillier Ignite to make it happen.

Luke is currently the Executive Chairman of the Board for ADS, Inc, leading provider tactical and operational equipment and logistics solutions. He is also the Chairman of the Warrior Protection Readiness Coalition, an industry organization dedicated ensuring our warfighters are provided with the equipment that is crucial to accomplishing their mission and bringing them home safely.   Prior to ADS, Luke held positions with the Outstanding Scholars Program in Acquisition Management for the U.S. Navy, the Oracle Corporation, and Mythics, Inc., a company he founded in 1999. He is a graduate of Old Dominion University and is currently a member of its Board of Visitors.
