Warrior for Warriors 

Over the past five years, Hillier Ignite has awarded over $200,000 to recognize and reward outstanding achievements of active duty military/veterans and their families. 

 

The Hillier Ignite Warrior for Warriors award was created to ignite broader awareness and support for organizations assisting veterans and military families, by both recognizing and financially supporting their impactful work. The Ignite Warrior for Warriors Award includes an unrestricted grant of $25,000.

AWARDS

The Ignite award recognizes and rewards outstanding achievements tied to each of our core focus areas of entrepreneurs, youth and active duty military and veterans.

 

Each year, an Ignite Award will be given in the following categories:

Entrepreneurship: The Ignite Lifesaving Innovation Award is presented annually to the company responsible for creating and introducing a product to the market over the preceding 12 months that Hillier Ignite has judged to be the year’s most significant lifesaving innovation. The award is presented at the ADS Warrior Expo East, in Virginia Beach, VA in July, an event that brings end users, program managers, and procurement specialists together with industry-leading manufacturers in an environment designed specifically for government and defense organizations.

Youth: The Ignite Youth Award recognizes a person or organization that has taught and inspired disadvantaged youth in the USA or abroad. The awards are given annually. The Ignite Youth Award includes an unrestricted grant of $25,000.

Active Duty Military and Veterans: The Ignite Warrior for Warriors Award recognizes a person or organization selected by Hillier Ignite that has provided significant support to veterans in overcoming the challenges relating to the transition to civilian life or the challenges faced by family members of active duty soldiers while deployed. The award is presented at the ADS Warrior Expo East, in Virginia Beach, VA in July, an event that brings end users, program managers, and procurement specialists together with industry-leading manufacturers in an environment designed specifically for government and defense organizations.  The Ignite Warrior for Warriors award includes an unrestricted grant of $25,000.
